Hi Enock,

willkommen bei OSM München.

Finding a room will not be easy. A tip from me: First find a room for, say, 2 or 3 months as a temporary solution. There are always offers where you can get a room because the resident is not in Munich. In the meantime, you can take your time to look for the right flat share (Wohngemeinschaft) or the right room.

I can give you support via my car with bike rack to get a used bike or to test ride the bike first. I have recently retired, so I am flexible in my time and have a lot of time on my hands ;)

Munich is very big on foot... with the bike it goes much better. I would look for " href="https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-fahrraeder/muenchen/preis:100:200/fahrrad-mtb/k0c217l6411>" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);" data-mce-style="color: #0000ff;">ebay Kleinanzeigen, where many bikes in the price range of 100 to 200 Euros are available.

Only your bike frame height you should know. If necessary, I can send you suitable links on how to find the right frame height. All simple measuring technique with a meter stick.

To help you find your way around Munich, Magic Earth https://www.magicearth.com (ME) has a great navigation app, which is free and will take you everywhere... and ME is full based on OSM.
