Es ist zwar in Berlin (noch?) und in HH teilweise üblich, die S-Bahn als light_rail zu taggen, aber das ist tagging für den Renderer, damit er die Bahn anders darstellt.</p>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">Der englische Text _aller_ Wiki-Seiten, die ich bisher finden konnte (auch map features) sagt explizit, dass llight_rail eine Stadtbahn ist und nimmt dabei Bezug auf die Straßenbahn. Das ist auch der heute in D gebräuchliche Begriff für Stadtbahn. Die Hamburger S-Bahn wird nur auf einer deutschen Unterseite zu Map-Features erwähnt, sonst habe ich sie nirgends gefunden, auch nicht im deutschen Howto.</p>

Sonst müssten wir eigentlich das gesamte Bahnnetz als light_rail taggen mit Ausnahme der Strecken, die der ICE1 befahren kann, der hat durch den dicken Speisewagen nämlich auch ein zu vielen Strecken inkompatibles Profil.</p>

Diese Position wird sich auf Dauer nicht halten lassen. Im Wiki wird früher oder später aufgeräumt werden und dann wird es zu Diskussionen kommen, auch mit später hinzu gekommenen Mappern, die vermutlich wenig Verständnis für euren Standpunkt haben werden. Hinzu kommt, dass es in Hamburg früher oder später auch eine Stadtbahn geben wird, schon aus reinen Kostengründen, und spätestens dann habt ihr ein Problem.</p>

S-Bahn als Vollbahn taggen, 2. versuchen, die light_rail-Definition im gesamten Wiki zu ändern, 3. ein neues tag benutzen und in den deutschen Stil der Mapnik-Karte integrieren, für 2. und 3. vorher eine Diskussion auf talk-de, tagging und im Forum starten. Wenn wir da ein neues tag umgesetzt bekommen, wird auch der internationale Mapnik-Stil irgendwann mal angepasst.</p>

Früher oder später sind dann auch diese "Sekten-Seiten" wie map features und howto dran, die ME in reine Verweise umgewandelt werden sollten, damit dieses Nebeneinander im Wiki aufhört. Wenn wir das so laufen lassen wie jetzt, wird spätestens dann die jetzige S-Bahn-Definition versenkt.</p>
