<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif;color:black">In dem Beitrag wird ausgehend von der Bedeutung von Flächennutzungsdaten für Politik, Planung und Verwaltungspraxis die Möglichkeiten eines Monitorings auf Grundlage von Geobasisdaten
erläutert. Dafür werden geeignete Geodaten wie ALKIS, ATKIS, LBM-DE, LUCAS und CLC kurz vorgestellt und bewertet. Anschließend wird auf die Datengrundlagen und Berechnungsverfahren des Monitors der Siedlungs- und Freiraumentwicklung (IÖR-Monitor) eingegangen.
Dieser stellt seit 2000 flächendeckend für Deutschland kleinräumig Karten, Tabellen und Graphen zur Flächennutzungsentwicklung kostenfrei im Internet bereit. Abschließend werden interessante Analyseergebnisse gezeigt und auf bestehende Problem eingegangen.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
